      ART CONTEST!!

      ART CONTEST!

      i dont care about the event team right now or the art team no one is doing any thing so i have taken matter into my own hands!

      Rules:

      1. there are 2 sections written and image
      Written is well a written art : like a poem
      image is an image: like a drawing

      2. you can enter both sections or just one

      3. the work has to be your own and new you cant use one that is already made

      Prize:a big fat butt donut

      there is a deadline i think 2 weeks from now will be good

      to enter make a post below and enter a link to the art work or post it in the post

      say what section you are entering in.

      give the title of your work

      you can't do that on the internet!.... wait yes you can do it again!

      An actual finished product of an idea I came up with three years ago when I didnt have a 3D graphics program...

      The cab was a model that my friend got from a cadpak. I got it with absolutely no texture, no color, no UV maps, and nothing else except the model. The rest was made entirely by me (texturing, modeling the trailer box, shaders, textures, lights, and the final render). The box texture was made in flash/photoshop and the rest in Maya. And of course the border and copyright stuff was in photoshop...

      This contest seems pretty rushed to me...

      I have no problem with holding it if you want, but have you even talked to ice or seeker yet? If not, you can't just assume that they'll come up with something, or give out titles and whatnot...
      These are the tears that I dream about...

      Well I didn't really do it for a prize... I just did it because nobody else seemed to be doing it and it gave me motivation to finish one of those lonely, half-built projects that still sit in my maya folder and are left unfinished... And plus I think docthory deserves some more recognition.
