Nature Poems

When I listen to music I sometimes have an urge to write down the images I get in my mind in a poem like way. I would like to get better at writing down my images in an artistic way because I can't paint so well. Please tell me what you think and if there is anything I can improve.

The cursed tree

And I walked where he told me to
Searching for tranquility
My mind was poisoned with human blight
I was lost and still I walked
Pursuing enlightenment

No place was safe for me
So I escaped into the astral lands
The realm of will and power
Where I was told that I am weak
So I went to fortify my soul

I wondered in to the forest
The realm of ancient nature
There I met my night mistress
Tainted by the plants of knowledge
We danced under the moonlight

I knew what I had to do
The winds were to the mountains
I conquered my weakened soul
As I looked down I saw the truth
A glimpse of death and then I flew

Awake my thoughts and there he was
He spoke to me he gave me a tree
In a forgotten valley under a cliff
In the place of faith and death
enlightenment tranquility a curse!

I am the tree
Engrave those words in me
For this is my story

Beyond the winds and shadows
He went alone

The forest whispered his last truth
His power led him trough the winterfrost

Fenris moon light the way
Proceed into the blackest night

The path unfolds there is no choice
