      Dragon pencil sketches.

I'm working on reducing how generic my dragons look, but in the mean time I'll just post a few here.
I might color one in this weekend too.

Oh - I love critiques and suggestions, even if they're harsh. But please be nice about it.

:bravo: Nice! I suck as an artist myself so all my drawings look like the opposite of what they should.

Thank you Burke. I'm sure your art doesn't suck though.

Did quick coloring jobs of the last two sketches... Turned out alright.

Wow, these are amazing! Not really the kind of dragons that I like, but still, really exceptional drawings! Keep up the good work.

Yeah, my dragons are more animal-like. Thanks a lot!

Holy crap these are amazing! I wish I could do something like this XD But seeing as I am artistically impaired, I am far from this. Keep it up!

I'm liking the pre-coloured drawings a bit more than the coloured ones. They look like what would go down in a wildlife sketch book on another planet with a different ecology. I'm not sure what's going on the penciled ones that make them more appealing specifically (maybe it's because they don't look polished, as the coloured ones do?) but that's what I'm getting. It is nevertheless pleasing to look at. Are you self taught?

I remember seeing your older drawings on another thread you made (when you were named demara), but these are 100 times better!
The design of the dragons are beautiful, and the colouring is amazing.

I agree, they almost look less cartoony than the colored ones. I'm self-taught, yes. I took a few art classes but all they helped me with was to get me to draw straighter lines and better circles.

Here's some more. These are a few weeks older than the others, and were focused mainly on anatomy then positioning/viewpoint.

Love the colouring. The contrast on the orange/red and blue one is especially nice.

I pick up a half-eaten copy of a book by Neil Gaiman, and decide this is all his fault.
