Random works
I really liked a lot of the works on this forum, so I thought I would post a couple of random poems I have saved here on my work computer.
This doesn't have a title...actually I wrote it the morning after I had a dream that I was at a nightclub and the bartender accidently set me on fire while trying to concoct a flashy drink.
With rushed movements,
I push past the half closed door,
A step into the damp lamplight,
A decision...left or right into the night?
I choose the latter and take flight,
A thick stench assaults my senses,
Dense smoke chokes my eyes,
As they begin to rinse with tears—I cry.
I recognize that flesh is burning,
I pray turning that it is not my own,
If so the pain delays as fear performs,
It’s wicked foreplay--my horror forms.
Light is all about…I cannot see,
A silent shout for help is cast,
My thoughts plead for sound,
As I choose to fight toward the ground.
I try to decide, to lie and die,
Or to dive and survive another day not worth living.

This was one is a gushy exaggeration of someone I find attractive. :P
Chie Vs. Nature
Solar systems bend against your light,
The night flees and the sky ignites.
Your gaze cast warm illusions,
Delusions of suns in fusion.
The vapor that escapes your mouth brings
The sweet moisture of nectar springs.
Each note of nature cast a sound,
A tribute to your beauty resounds.
Your passing fragrance hints,
Of mystic scent and sentiment.
Your gentle touch in length creates,
The strength my body generates.
My love for you shall withstand,
The test of distance between our lands.
