Thread: how would you copy something from paint and post it here

You proceed to click "Browse" in which a widow pops up. In this window, click to a directory where your pictures are (usually My Pictures, but you might have moved them or something), and click a picture. Once you've uploaded it, the site will give you a link url. You can now use this in IMG tags or in your signature, for example.

EDIT: CT, your links are messed up at the end (you put a comma near the /).

go to www.imageshack.us



click on "Browse"

you are presented with a 'file upload' window. This is your basic windows file/folder structure (Yours might look a little different because you use a different OperatingSystem, like Windows98 or maybe even Mac OSX, and probably a different language too unless you're dutch like me )

In this "file upload" window you have to locate the picture that you have made (Make sure you have saved it in paint or other program as a .JPG file, not .BMP) and once you have located it, you click 'open'.

then you will see in the little box next to "Browse" that the filepath to your picture is there. (Which will be similair to C:/Folder/image.jpg but that is just an example filepath).
Now, click on "host it" and it will be uploaded to imageshack. Warning, this might take a while, depending on the size of the picture and your internet connection.

once its done, you will be presented with a new screen, and this can be pretty confusing.
What you should look for is the 4th box with text in it, the one with " Hotlink for forums (1) " next to it.

You select the text IN the box, and you copy it. This text in the box contains the URL to your picture, and extra phpBB code, to make the post show up in this phpBB forum. Then you copy that text into your post here and it will show up.
A direct link to your picture can be found in the last box. you could also copy this link, but to have it show up on this forum, you would have to put the phpBB code around it yourself, namely you put [IMG] infront of your link, and [/IMG] behind your link. Its quite easy, actually, like quotes and such.
