I do a little bit of work with a soundboard. I can mix alright but it is something I really enjoy. If there is anyone here who has a passion for soundboards and mixing live performances or even making tapes I would love for you to share any knowledge with me.
I'd love to learn more, but I've never had the opportunity to get any hands-on experience. It's probably the closest thing I have to a career goal.
how important is the positioning of speakers? how many would you need to adequately fill up a medium sized gym?
Haha see I dont know much on that end of it. I know more on the actual operation of the equipment than the sound dynamics of a building. i would love to learn more about both sides. And i have been thinking about a career in that drection too. Running the soundboard at my church is probably my one passion.
