I just bought some pretty good vodka of about 80 proof and am starting my experiment tonight. The base ingredient I'm gonna be using is Common Yarrow (this is what going to make the thing bitter). I'm also going to add this stuff: Ginger, mint, cinnamon, oregano, but that stuff is just for flavor. I'm gonna keep all this stuff in a sealed glass container away from light but take it out to give it a shake at least once a day.
This is all stuff I learned off the internet but the recipe is something I came up with. I also could use wormwood as the main ingredient since I have a lot of it. Would that be better than yarrow in any way?
Since the information I found was pretty scarce any tips or additional information you could give me would be appreciated. Also, am I doing anything wrong? This is all pretty new to me.
