'Lucid Dreaming App' on Android - do you use this??

Am using Alexander Stone's 'Lucid Dreaming App' on my Galaxy Ace. I am impressed with its potential but am having trouble calibrating it.

My first problem is changing the 'R-factor', found via the route 'Start calibration' - Menu - 'Adjust R' - 'Adjust calibration filter'. After inputting changes and tapping 'Change' and leaving the 'Calibration' page, the app closes and jumps to the Android homescreen . If a 'Quick Calibration' is performed, it returns to the 'Quickstart' text.

A look at the 'Adjust R' again shows that all changes are lost. The developer has, understandably, given his circumstances, chosen to take a break from supporting his app so I'm hoping someone here has experience with it to help me sort this out.

Hi HappyChris, I use an HTC Wildfire with Alexander's app. I find that the extended calibration doesn't work for me. I think it is suposed to trace the activity on a graph as it calibrates, but this doesn't work. The quick calibration works OK though.
Does yours work with the default values if you check the "force calibration done" check box in the setup? (It's called something like that!).

Has anyone here used the app with the Zeo headband?

I've just got the Zeo Mobile headband and have just started using it with Alexander Stone's App.
It's such a pity that Alexander can't put in developper time on the Android version of his App. It's really good, but there's so many improvements that could be made, particularly with the addition of the Zeo data.
I'm still trying to understand how best to use the App with Zeo. I think it now should allow triggering of a reminder when the Zeo senses going from light sleep to REM. I'll post my findings here when I know more.
I have a suspicion that there is not really a "magic bullet" for LD, even with the assistance of an EEG monitor like Zeo. You still need to have the awareness to make it happen, but just maybe the Zeo will help.
