what kind of shoes do you use?
How much water do you drink?
How much are you getting paid?:cheeky:
What do the girls at school say about you running, does it make you sexxier?
@Chimpertainment
Well, for regular training, I use a pair of Brooks Ghost 5 running shoes. I also use a pair of Saucony running spikes when competing in races and on certain workouts.
@EricB
I tend to drink about the equivalent of four bottled waters a day. I should be drinking more though, because I can get dehydrated quite easily on hotter days. One of the runners on our team though, is so insane that he drinks water while he's peeing. XD
Unfortunately, I'm not getting paid anything, but I do have a couple of medals. :D
And most of the girls don't exactly consider cross country "sexy", but the girl's cross country team does. :shadewink:
Ahhh... I loved Cross Country...
That feeling of being animated and fueled by nothing more than pure will-power.
I was in horrible shape when I started- but it didn't matter.
All it takes is will power and a little dedication. Maybe some tolerance for pain.
The afterglow is still a little painful too, but it doesn't compare to how accomplished you feel afterwards.
But a question! Do you love your sport, Twisty? :]
@szuru
A whole-hearted yes. I absolutely love the sport; it's honestly become one of the biggest parts of my life. It does take a lot of dedication, but like you said, the benefits are worth it.
I can't believe that the season is almost over though. ;_;
On a good note, however, our team won first place in our sectional divisions today! We'll be moving on to the state finals next Saturday, where we have the chance to qualify for the Meet of Champs.
