Tell me about making money online

If you can make websites then you can start making small programs. So go to freelancer or elance or odesk and browse through all the categories until you find a starting point. You should be able to get access to enough programming tools for free, e.g.: Eclipse and Visual Studio Express. All the answers are already on Google. Start bidding and make a name for yourself. One project will lead to the next and before you know it you will have a full time job writing code making six figures.

I have a few dollars left in my freelancer account. Let me know when you have set up your account and have bid on a dozen project to no avail. I can let you win a project and give you a good rating. That will give you a head start and make it easier to win your first bids.

The odds of becoming a YouTube superstar are one in a million. Becoming a successful coder is guaranteed if you put in the hours.

I feel like giving this a go instead of a regular job, as I always get fired because I hate working in a supermarket or food store. My goal is to make money through the computer, be it youtube or making websites. I'm a very technical person, and I like fitness, computers (including games), reading, playing the piano (which I suck at). My study is about math, physics and navigation. All relating to boats.

From the info I've gathered today, blogging is nice but you will need to be known already. For example have a youtube channel set up with quite some subs and regular viewers.

You can use youtube for money obviously, but how much do you earn off it? And what kind of subject should I choose.

Making websites. I have some experience with this because I took computer classes in high school. Like I said I'm a technical person and insight is one of my strongest properties. Where do I sell websites however?

Any more ideas would be welcome. I would really appreciate advice on this matter.
