Im 16 and still cant take tablets, I dont know wahts wrong with me.
I have some severe health issues and its been hard taking fluids all the time exspeically on holiday and such.
But now I have real motivation to learn to help with lucidty, through B6 and caffeine and whatever else pops up.
So basically what im asking is if people could try and tell me exaclty how to do it.
Is there anybody who has had this problem and overcome it?

Personally I have trouble too, so I put the pill in my moth, get some water in my mouth right after and swallow it all together. I also always keep some water to the side in case it jets jammed in my throat, which it never does, I just like to be safe.
If you really have trouble (I did too at one point), I recommend using yogurt, bananas, or any other food, really. What you do is chew the food until you feel that you're about to swallow the whole mouthful (this usually happens automatically when you've chewed enough). At this point, stick the pill in the middle of the glob and swallow the whole thing down. It should be effortless if you have a good bite in there. Good luck!
Get your mouth moist with water. Place the pill way back on your tonge, about as far as your finger can reach. Then gulp. follow with a drink of water.
I've never had a problem taking pills... :oops:
I usually just dry swallow.
I used to have trouble swallowing pills for the longest time. It's definitely alot easier if you just place the pill on your tongue towards the back of your throat, try not to think about it, and just swallow a big gulp of water. I think it's a mental thing, so try to take it when you're watching tv or something to distract yourself. The key is, not to think about it...or else your throat contracts and it feels like you're trying to swallow a quarter or something.
It does get alot easier. Just practice, like anything else.
That reminds me, my friend at school was this massive supplement junkie when it came to working out, and he let me try this stuff called Luekick, but the 6 pills I had to take were about

that big (as well as thick). Gigantic, ugly looking things, and I downed the things in less than a minute.
So did they do anything? Heh. You sound like my friend. Whenever we do DXM he makes me feel like such a wuss sitting there swallowing only like 5 pills at a time, while he downs them in sets of 20 and waits for me to catch up. *gags*Quote:

Though this backfires sometimes when I swallow the water first by accident (if I'm really thirsty) and the pill's just sitting in my throat. Really bad if it's a fishoil tablet, because then the gel capsule starts to go away and the nasty oil starts to come out. NASTY TASTING! Also, as a side effect of fish oil, my burps are rather fish-smelling.
