Tell me if this is fair
My last name starts with a 'W' so I have to pick my classes last every single semester after all of the easy gen-ed classes are filled up and closed. Forcing me to take an advanced chemistry class for a Section C gen-ed requirement when I've never taken a chemistry class before in my life.
Blowing off steam.

Your class sign-ups aren't based on "first come first served" but on the initial of your last name?
That does seem really unfair.. you have my sympathy. :(
.

I vote unfair. :madtongue: to your college.
-
Well, look on the bright side, if your name was Frits Zernike you would have to study advanced physics.
-
 seems fair to me! My sirname begins with an A :D
Okay I'm joking but that sounds stupid! Have you thought about questionning this?

Ninja - I think you must be seriously misinterpreting the sign-up rules. I can't imagine any place in the US (even Shippensburg?) that would have such a silly rule. If there is, you have a serious case to bring up to the school board. That could easily be seen as a form of discrimination if presented properly.
