I've noticed when the water is so hot, my skin itches like hell and my skin hurts depending on how much I scratch it. Then my skin goes red and gets sensetive. Any other problems people have with water? Or dangers you may near experienced?

 Just don't go in water that hot. Why would you need to anyways?
I almost drowned a few times in the pacific.. then in the atlantic.. then the pacific again. Dunno if that's what you're looking for though. :P
Sometimes when you dive in, and it goes up your nose, that can hurt. A lot.
Well, kind of yeah. Anything that involves nearly dying will do. :) But yeah, I wanted the water THAT hot because my mind goes silly when it comes to baths and I go "More hot water, more!" and I end up thinking "Oh my god, cold, cold!"
If I ever see you drowning, I'll save you! :D
I think diving in generally hurts alot, depending on the height of the fall. :undecided:
Yea, belly-flops hurt, for sure.
 Thanks! Good to know someone will want to save me.
Yeah omg water going up your nose is the worst!! And then that feeling doesn't go away for quite a while. Water goes up my nose every time I swim. I used to be so good at avoiding that when I was younger, but now... :whyme: I know you should breathe out when you're underwater, but that just makes my breath last half as long and baaalggsdr.
Reminds me of the time I went down a water slide and lay down as if I was in a bath. That made me seriously think I was going to die! :( Also - Fizzy drinks are the worst when it comes to noses.
What about water-boarding? That's a bad water thing that is also a timely news topic.
No it's not as fun as surfing.
That reminds me, I did get hurt in the ocean one time. I was slammed to the sand and got my face all bloody. But that was more the sand's fault than the water's.
Is that your profile picture?
I've had my fair share of crappy times with water.
1. I hate water going up my nose. Wait, let me repeat that again. I hate water going up my nose. I've always been the nerd in the pool that has the nose plugs. :( Don't make fun! I guess I just didn't learn how to swim the correct way and blow out of my nose! Hmmph! Pain in my bum!
2. I also dislike taking a shower with my contacts in because I get fairly nervous that water will just spew everywhere and get in my eyeball. See ya, contacts. :(
I also vaguely remember drowning when I was a wee thing. I'm pretty sure I just slipped down into the deep end! Goodness! Don't know who saved me! Hahaha! Oh, well! I'm here to tell the tale, so thats all that matters!
P.S. Watching Iron Chef America right now
But what's even worse is taking showers and letting shampoo get in your eye! Now that's a real pain in the arse area. :?
Reminds me, I went on holiday to Malta, came back home. Had swimming, got a certificate. That's mostly what I was doing there, practicing my swimming skill! I mastered swimming.
Shampoo in your eye?! That is horrific! Don't even REMIND me of it! =[
I've been fortunate enough to avoid that with the contacts in. Cannot imagine the two of them combined in one atomic shower of death :(
And maybe you can teach me the proper way to swim, since I'm obviously having some trouble in that department! ;)
Well it's all about floating really, if you believe thatyou're dreamingYou can swim and it's impossible to just drown, you'll do okay. It's just, when you're actually swimming doing whatever method, if it's strong enough to keep you up the surface then you can be sure you call yourself safe going over any height of water.
I don't know now though I get a weird feeling when I image myself floating on a deep swimming pool.
Nah she just means swimming without having to plug your nose or use nose plugs. I wanna be able to do that too. I also used to be able to keep my eyes open in any kind of water... ocean, chlorine... but now my eyes get really irritated, or I'm just too nervous to try!
Try getting stuck in the middle of one of these.

It'll definately keep you away from the water for a little while.
Lol! I know what you mean, but I don't think I've ever been stung by one of them. I might of been once, but I wont remember it now. The last I saw of them was on the film 'Finding Nemo' which is an excellent film, although now I'm starting to just not like Disney, their movies suck.
Yeah I really don't know how I did it in the ocean, with all the salt and sand and fish poop...
Spart, :o omg did you get stuck in one of those?? How did you err survive?
Haha, that username does kind of remind me of JellyFish, Spartiate, I don't know why.
Yeah, I was swimming pretty far from the shore on vacation in Prince Edward Island. They obviously weren't dangerous or anything, their stings are kind of like bad mosquito bites but in long lines. It's quite funny just how terrorizing it is for these things to pop out of nowhere and surround you. You don't feel their stings at first, just all the mushiness, it feels like trying to swim through jam or something :P. When you finally get through, you can count on that nice saltwater to let you know just how badly stung you were.
I'll stop ranting now, but safe to say I'd probably prefer swimming with sharks than with those things again...
:eh:
I was always a bit of a fish.
I love water. 90% of my dreams involve water or waves or the sea or something.
I totally get that. When I make the bath REALLY hot it's like I trip out - I make myself high.
As for the water up the nose, I always thought it smelled kinda like cheese.
