Steal a street sign. =). Um. I don't know send him some tea cups and some location specific beer! |

An australian friend and I have decided to send each other a package of novelty items for our birthdays as they are in the same week, we set a £20.00 ( about $40.00) budget and have made a pact that we would only send each other things that we likely couldnt get in our own countrys?( easily anyhow) The items need to be quite light in weight as well as relatively small or its gonna be a killer on postage costs, Apart from the usual gift shop type items i am completely stumped what to send, So if anyone has any ideas it would be a great help, Thankyou! |

This is a simple one. Send a £20.00 note. It's light, so it saves on postage, and she likely can't get it easily in Australia. Talk about novelty! |

Starry starry night, paint your pallet blue and gray,
Look out on a summers day,
with eyes that know the darkness of my soul.
Get someone to do something completely ridiculous for £20.00, video tape it, and send the video. |

Don't forget to throw in some cheapos, like the front page of your local paper. It'll give the package more flavor! |

You might be able to pick up some nice books or souvenirs relating to the local history of your area. Australians don't have so mcuh of that. |
