Thread: Ahh..so sober.

Just stay away from situations where you would be tempted to smoke, like when friends are out smoking and stuff. Keep reminding yourself why you need a straight head, and remember that when you stay sober for long enough, the pay off will be bigger at the end because your tolerance to it will be gone, and it'll be all the sweeter.

Never thought it like that, So when I do smoke again it will hit me like a ton of bricks.

also, think about all that extra cash you'll have.
you'll be fine dude, even if friends are smoking around you, know you have enough self controll to just say "nah dude im taking a break."

Yeah, well I had no cash to start with, and friends are very supportive.

If you have an addictive personality it'll be much harder for you than it would be for me, considering I too am quitting my drugs after I start my classes this September.

Not just weed, but coke, mushrooms, acid, MDMA, alcohol and any other drug that might come my way. But you know what? I'm not worried about it, quitting drugs has never been an obstacle to me.

Quiting makes you feel more alive, and it's good that you are dropping the hard stuff too.

you feel more alive on the whole. you might think being "unsober" is better, but really it only lasts a few hours and then you're right back where you started. which makes you want to be right back where you were.

for me it's a cycle. i smoke a little and it gradually increases until i decide i'm smoking too much. then i quit for awhile, and start back when it feels right.

Obviously I'm not quitting forever, I'm just making a more positive choice for this moment at time where if I can't have both school and drugs then I would rather choose school.

Im not quiting forever either, but I just dropped it and doing fine..I don't crave it anymore.

I did, I replaced it with Yoga.
I love yoga.

Oh thats the best thing to replace it with, the only problem is that it would be pretty weird to get together with your friends and do yoga.

Ha yes it would, since half my friend would hate it, But if they don't want to come and want to smoke that when I go and do some Yoga.
It's the best way to let stress out too, I was also thinking boxing.
