Tell me what girls blab to each other

I'm trying to send the message that I like a certain girl, who I've increasingly talked to over the past few days, more than just a friend. There's another girl who is my close friend who told me she had talked to this other girl. The girl I'm after told her I was in her class, which I am.

What I seek to do is to tell my friend that I'm thinking of asking the other girl out. I think, maybe, just maybe, if I tell my friend who happens to be a girl that I like this other girl, that she will turn around and tell my crush that I like her. If this happens, then my crush will respond either more positively or more negatively to me whether or not she likes me back or not or has a boyfriend or not. See, that's the problem. I don't know if she has a boyfriend or not so I can't tell if she's interested in me or just trying to be my friend.

My question is: Do girls do this? Do they tell each other right off the bat what's been going on? I'm thinking of just telling my friend the next time she sees this said girl to tell her what I said as if she were giving my crush inside information.

lol, sorry. I'm very technical when it comes to things like this. I think of it as a big RTS that requires perfect calculation and execution.

Lol. Really, you should just ask her if she feels that way. Smoothly, and gently go into it so as not to freak the crap out of her. IE: "Hey, if you don't mind my asking...so on"

LOL so do I. I always try to think ahead on things and think about the most common thing to happen.

ya, SomeGuy I see what you're saying, but this is a girl who I've been an acquaintance of since last year. Only now am I slowly becoming friends with her. I would only use what you're describing in situations where I've been super good friends with a girl who is single.

Oh. Then ask her if she has a boyfriend. IE: "Hey, you know, i never thought about this before, but do you have a boyfriend?" Act like you just want to know...or say just that "Hey i just wanted to know...do you have a boyfriend? thought i would ask."

The moment that opportunity arises, I'm going to do it. Nonetheless, if I can get my friend to tell her I like her, it will make the rest of the process much easier.

That second option is kind of bad and probably a dead give away that you want to date her.

It's best if you just slip that question in somewhere or try to get her to talk about a possible boyfriend.

I think that your friend will tell your crush that your interested, only if they are good friends. Are they?
I don't think she'd tell her "He is going to ask you out" unless she knows for sure your going to, or if she knows your crush likes you back.
I've been in that situation before. My friend told me he was going to ask a friend of mine out. But we weren't good friends, So I just told her he liked her.
But, he told me it was a surprise, so I guess I couldnt tell her anyway.

If your going to tell your friend to tell your crush that you are going to ask her out, maybe you should just get your friend to ask your crush whether she likes you or if she has a boyfriend.

Well I don't think they are friends, but acquaintances. The fact that they spoke to each other some point in time between Monday and Friday gives the chance that they might do so again. Even more so, the fact that I was mentioned in this conversation really jogs my hopes.

From what you have said, PixieStix my plan may just work. Due to these two girls not being friends, but acquaintances who might speak again, I'm going to have to set in motion a backup plan. This will consist of talking to her every day and trying my best to read her body language signals. *sigh* I hope my first plan works, 'cause that would sure take the work out of it.
