Tell ME about good stuff in hot apple cider

What is good for putting in cider? I got:
cinamon
cloves
allspice
nutmeg

Anything else?

Caramel. You could also add a tiny bit of whipping cream on top if that interests you... but only if it's the good home made (-esque) cider, not the instant stuff.

But yes, caramel and those other good things.

Try something weird. Put like....PEPPER or something in it!

Might taste nice, spicy cider...Yum!

Cool, but don't try black pepper, cut up a pepper and throw them in there, then take them out and drink, might taste good, might make you sick.

You could always try grilling some green pepper (as frying would make it oily) and try pureeing it, so that you still have that sweet-ish pepper taste... I really don't know how that would go, but while we're on the topic of weird foods...

Caramel and chilli with apple cider, mmm.

I recommend the cinnamon.

If you're up for it, try adding palm sugar, chilli, and nutmeg.

For a different taste, vinegar also works in a small quantity.

Not just saying it cause its alcohol but brandy goes fairly well with some cider.

What about... apples?

But Kichu said green peppers, and you could sautee them, only I'd do it in olive oil rather than butter so the peppers retain a sweeter flavor. I just like to grill them out of personal preference. (As for how it would taste in cider, it's anybody's guess...)

I am going to try some time this week..Grilled and sauted.
