      Pretty much anyone can look at least DECENT if they take of themselves. If I see a girl with a flabby, neglected body I can generally be sure that I wouldn't like her even if I got to know her.

      Aside from that, looks really aren't that important to me. They matter, but there's a point at which a person is good looking enough, and from there on out it's all about personality.

      Well, of course they matter. It's ridiculous to say otherwise. What's important is that it shouldn't be the ONLY thing. If you're with someone solely because you find them physically attractive, yet you actually hate their guts otherwise, that's pretty shallow.

      It is not, however, remotely shallow to expect that if you get a girlfriend/boyfriend, it's going to be someone you fancy. It would pretty frickin' stupid otherwise IMHO...

      I guess I would venture to say that what i find appealing others may not. I would have to say that of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What I may be attracted to others may not. Yeah i have to be mentally attracted. Can't explain it. Looks only get you so far. Looks doesnt keep you going back for more. Doesn't keep the flames in the bedroom going. Doesn't keep the conversation flowing.

      I guess in the end what one finds attractive is what they themselves feel. A mirror image of oneself. I like quirky, expressive, artsy fartsy, sociable, intelligent, openminded and dares to be different. If that comes in a package with a big nose I am all for it. If it comes chunky or too short so be it. If he is too tall or too lean but can swoon me with spontanaity - love love love.

      I have found that men get upset if they are in fact good looking and they ask the question - What do you find attractive? If i respond with Adrian Brody and I get the response - You must not find me attractive. Can someone answer what that is? I never quite understood that.
