I'm getting my private pilot's liscence for a single-engine aircraft in 2 years, and next year in February I'm going to be able to do solo flights, including cross country.
Does anyone else here fly?

Yes... though not as often as I need to or ought to. I keep getting part way through my PPL, then stopping. I keep having the odd flight in old stuff (DC-3!!! ) and have a healthy interst in aviation, my friend maintains a Spitfire so I've had a play with that a couple of times.

I'm interested in getting a piloting licence and was wondering how do I go about getting one and if it is really expensive or not?
Find your local flying club and ask them, or look on their website.
At my local flying school it costs just under £100 per hour, and I need around 45 hours, plus ground exams to pass.

Merci. So long.
Thank you.
Sorry, my computer is slow, thought my last post hadn't made it through.
Yea i have 12 hours done. Weather put a stop to it though...
I flew for the first time a couple weeks ago. Just a Cessna. But it was PHENOMENAL. There's a slim chance I'll get to fly again any time soon, becauseI crashed the planeslots are limited.
