It's been several years now since my computer geek days, but hostname might be a possibility. I used to run a M.U.D. back in the day (yeah.......) and I would regularly ban by hostname rather than IP address as they were somewhat less susceptible to change. |

The thing was just registring itself into the system, all programs do this during installation, or atleast most of them. What you can do is press Start > Run > regedit > search registry for data that relates to the software you installed, then delete the data. This is however risky business if you have no idea what the hell you are doing, and you sound like such a person. I suggest you just do it illegally, but instead of doing it the shitty way like you're trying to now, you do it the right way. I can say no more. |
