Really? The black chick at the end is gorgeous without makeup. The same is true for the one holding the phone. The others are either kind of old or not my type. However, it's worth noting that the non-makeup pictures were taken in kinda bad lighting. I wonder what some of those differences would look like WITHOUT makeup, but WITH the lighting. Or maybe put the makeup ones in the crappy lighting and compare the shots.
I've seen some pretty hideous girls. You are generalizing too much. Sure, a good looking female is better looking than an ugly guy. But what about a good looking guy compared to a horrifying girl?
I consider myself to be a very good looking guy. I could find a SHIT load of girls to compare myself to, and come to the conclusion that I am better looking.
In my opinion it's even. I don't think females are better looking.
I like cute looking girls!
I think some girls are hotter than others...but I've never seen a hot guy dating an ugly girl before...
I'd just like to say that those pics Jeff posted aren't quite fair. Good luck finding a flattering picture of a celebrity without make-up on the internet. The reason people post pictures of celebs without make-up on the internet is to make them look bad. They are meant to not only bring them down to Earth, but to make them look as horrible as they can, so that the people reading/looking feel better about themselves.
Notice how in 90% (fabricated) of the pictures you find of celebs without makeup, they are making god-awful faces or having inhumanly severe acne break-outs. There is a reason for that.
I've seen plenty of girls who are absolutely gorgeous without makeup, and beauty is more than skin clarity and texture (though if someone eats and lives healthily, they are still much more likely to have gorgeous skin - moreso than the celebs you see without their makeup). It has to do with skeletal structure, the dimensions of their fleshy features (shape of the lips and eyes) hair, etc.
Most guys normally don't wear their make-up, but they take the time to do their hair in stylish ways and trim their facial hair so that it doesn't look like they are wearing Furbees on their faces and mops on top of their heads. If we are to deny women their beauty because they wear a little make-up (especially when judging them by the most unflattering pics the photographers can find), then we must judge them along side completely ungroomed men. I'm not talking about those that cake their faces with make-up and completely transform themselves. A little bit here and there does not change them too drastically.
Amen to that my friend.
I don't care what anybody says, I love this video, I love the dancing, and I love this guy.
Picture please. Thanks.
My personal opinion is that female bodies are more attractive than mens bodies, but as for the face? Like, just naturally attractive...I think I have to give it to the men. That doesn't mean that there aren't naturally good-looking women out there, but in general, I would say an average male face is more attractive than an unmakeuped female face.
Yes, unmakeuped is a word.
Thirded.
I don't know what it is about her that is just so damn amazing, but she is definitely that. I remember the first time I saw her in a movie, when my ex got me to watch "Never Been Kissed" with her (which was actually pretty good :P) and I was like Hoooooooly Hell. Lol. She's been damn near at the top of my list ever since then.
I love the fact that she's a self-proclaimed nerd, too. Haha. Adorable.
No argument there. :banana:Quote:

Oh wtf I have to see that movie again now too. :P
And I second the demand for a pic of the self-proclaimed really hot guy.
Anyway... :smitten: now I can't stop thinking about how much I love men.
You say that like it's a bad thing. :(
My thoughts exactly. I just wonder if society has made us see this way. Would "unmakeuped" women be attractive if we weren't so used to seeing them under layers of it?
On a side note... Hillary Duff (or whoever that is) looks absolutely awful without makeup. She looks like a deathly ill wraith. :?
I used to wear makeup regularly, but it was only eye makeup (never mascara) and lipgloss. The eyeshadow was always some unnatural color, so it's not like I was trying to go for that "natural look" makeup that makes me lulz when I see it in magazines. Now I still wear lipgloss (I never grew out of it as a kid), and the only time I wear anything more than that is for bellydance (just eye makeup).
Some girls freak out if you even suggest not wearing makeup. Are they really that hideous underneath the caked-on layers, or do they feel as though they are worthless without it?
Women fascinate me, but maybe not in a good way. I've watched my friends (and discreetly women in public) do their makeup. They pull out all sorts of powders and creams and pencils, and I can't help but wonder what they look like without it.
Makeup is just... eh. It takes too much time in the morning, and then you have to worry about it for the rest of the day. I get to sleep in for an extra 15 minutes and never worry about my mascara running. I'm just glad that I don't even need the stuff.
As for the rest of the body... I can't help but drool over yummy curvy women. Guys are just boxy, scrawny and hairy. :?
(Generally speaking. There are some men with attractive bodies, but I'd rather see a woman.)
Well, my point is that our perception of what women actually look like is very skewed because what we see isn't usually real. That's not to say that women don't have attractive faces AT ALL, but, if we're going to talk about which sex has the majority of better looking faces naturally, I believe it's the men.
In my opinion you can't really compare a female body to a male one, males are all bony and hairy and we have really bad curves. I think females bodies are made to attract a male, because the male is usually the one who has got to do the initiating in most instances.
I don't think most female stars are all that attractive actually, maybe it is because their not other teenagers. But they all look so plasticy, if you wear too much makeup you look like a phony. A girl that looks good without makeup is usually always very attractive to me.
But yeah girls far out rule males in looks, thank god we actually carry facial features that come from are mothers (in a more masculine way of course):P.
I believe a lot of females can be attracted to female bodies if they just open their minds to the idea.
Well, for me personally, I just like to look at a female body more than a mans body. It's almost...an artistic thing? They're softer, curvier...I don't know. Just more beautiful. I would rather photograph a woman. The lines of the body are just easier on the eye.
But if we're talking about what I'd rather get in bed with? I guess as a female I prefer to feel a mans body on mine. Maybe because it's very different than my own? Harder, more...forceful? The soft, pleasant, artistic appreciation I have for the image of the female body is a different thing than the hard masculinity that I crave from a man in a sexual situation.
That's not to say that getting down with another girl doesn't have it's perks. ;)
I have to agree with that. Seeing as looks generally matter more to women than men, it is inevitable that women's looks would be artificially enhanced in an attempt to attract men, thus raising the bar for beauty in women. It seems to me that men can have many blemishes on their faces and be accepted. Women on the other hand must put makeup on to cover up these blemishes.
I agree with Wolfsbane. Men's faces are naturally more attractive but only because society has dictated this.
My straight best friend thinks women are much more attractive than men. Sometimes I really wonder if she's lesbian by the way she talks. I know other straight women who feel the same way. They all have a man in their life and as far as I know aren't gay in any way.
I find women's bodies more attractive both on an artistic and on a sexual level. I can look at a nude woman and appreciate the beauty of her curves without turning to sexual thoughts (so my opinion isn't entirely based on my sexual preference).
Most "artistic nude" pictures are of women. If there's one of a man, you typically don't see his junk.
Women are naturally more open and touchy-feely. They can look at another woman and say, "Damn, I wish I had a butt that nice," whereas a guy would be called gay if he said that.
Hello, beautiful. ;)
