      Tell me how to make alcohol!

      Soo I wana know how to easily make alcohol, the simplest way possible!
      In as little time possible!
      Maybe way of flavoring it or something.. If I make it, it will probably taste like shit anyways..

      get fruit, say, apples or grapes are probably best. put them in a tub all crushed up, so its like juice. make sure the tub has a lid. put a hole in the lid, feed a straw over to another tub filled with water, make sure one end of the straw is in the tub with the fruit, BUT NOT STUCK IN THE FRUIT, ITS JUST TO COLLECT GAS, and the other end in the water, no lid in that tub.
      the lid is so no air gets to it, and the straw is so that the tub doesnt explode because of build up of carbon dioxide. and it goes in water so air still cant get in.

      wait for about a week to 2 weeks and you will be left with an alcoholic drink.

      oh i just remembered, that last post was to ferment it, you could also distill it, which takes less than an hour.

      this would be to make something like vodka, just add a bit of juice at the end for flavouring because it just makes ethanol.

      distilation is more complicated and i cant fully remember how to do it, i learnt all this in chemistry last year.

      oh thanks so just frutie? I dont need suger and yeast?

      One time my brotyher left apple cider in one of those metal cofa can drinking cup things.
      And a year later. my dad found it, opened it, and thought I had alcohol in it.

      and i dont get it, if it was cider then its obviously gunna be alcohol, seeing as it already is alcohol.

      oops, when i hear cider, i just think strongbow and stuff, the alcoholic apple juice.

      p.s. you technically dont need yeast, its just an enzyme, but without it, it would take like a year. i suppose that means that it was alcohol that the cider turned to, it turned into the cider in my contrey, dont know what you call it in america.

      I think in america its called "Hard-Cider"
      Is it ilegal for me to make this if I am 16?
      I could say something like I was testing gausses exerted from mold on old fruits? lol

      i dont know the laws in america, but to be honest i doubt the police would find out anyway, and its not that big a deal if they do.

      by the way, you can make it out of any carbohydrate, most carbohydrates are sugars bar 1. so you could use sucrose, you would know as sugar, or you could use other sugars, but better to go with fructuse which is in fruits, so it gives you a flavour, of course if it doesnt have enough flavour, squeeze more fruit in, or add juice.

      the way to tell when it is finished it when all the yeast has dissappeared.

      just incase you are muddled up ill go through the steps correctly.

      what you need :
      fruit
      tub with lid (able to poke hole in)
      tub without lid
      straw
      yeast

      1) squash fruit up so much it turns to juice (easier to use juicer) and put in tub
      2)put some yeast in, just like 2 or 3 tablespoon fulls should do it
      3)close over lid and poke hole in it
      4)put straw through hole, but dont have the straw touching the fruit.
      5)get other tub, fill with water and put other end of straw into the water.
      6)wait for the yeast to dissapear fully, should take 2-3 weeks, dont worry if it takes less or more.

      note: keep in a fairly warm place, not too warm though. this is to ensure the enzyme activity is at peak.

      In the US it's actually only illegal for minors to buy alcohol, not drink it.

      in uk it used to be, im not sure if it still is this way, i think they raised it. children of 5 years old can drink in their home.

      I watch these cop shows, and there always aresting people, who buy beer for people.
      I Guess it would be ok if I made it myself! lol.

      Sooo, am I talking about 1 liter? A 5 gallon bucket?
      I just wanted to make a little water bottle of it.
      So if only 1/2 liter how much yeast?

      Could I just add water, suger, yeast? Then add flavors later after its ferminted?
      or could I just buy apple juice and add yeast to that?
      and how would I make that really sweet tasting alchol? It tasts like scotch?
