Ahoj,
I have the chance to join some friends on a trip to Beijing in April, and they've already booked, it's just me being undicided. Has anyone here been? What are you experiences of the place? Is it somewhere I should really try to go and visit?

Ah cool, I go snowboarding a lot too, mainly Austria though. Off to Bratislava on the 20th February until 2nd March. My girlfriend is Slovak too, so trying to learn some of the language.
A friend of mine was teaching English in Kosice for about 10 months too!
