Tell me about your pockets

I think that well equipped pockets are fundamentally badass. What do you always carry in your pockets? Do you designate pockets for certain items?

I don't care if you carry a purse. What goes in your pockets?



My pockets are always, always like this. It's almost like an OCD thing.

Right Front: Keys, Pens, Loose Change... essentially my junk pocket.
Right Front Change Pocket: Cellphone(I keep it separate so the touch screen doesn't get scratched)
Left Front: Zune
Right Back: Wallet
Left Back: Knife

The front pockets also have these sort of "caves" in them, they connect the pockets all the way up to the zipper, I slide shit like my pipe or weed in there.

I LOVE POCKETS.

I refuse to wear pants with less than two pockets, I always need to be able to carry something.

I only ever use my back pockets for money, easier to pickpocket.
I carry my wallet in my front right pocket, if im not wearing my jacket, I put my MP3 player there as well.
My jacket has pockets as well, which are always nice. Sometimes a comb or glasses in my jacket, no real order for that.

Also, I never carry a knife, unless im camping, then its just incase i need to cut something.

Your pockets are nearly the same as mine.

Right Front: Keys, Change, Pens or any other trinkets. Also mostly "junk."
Right Front Change: Cellphone. Fits nice and snug
Left Front: Usually empty, sometimes houses my iPod. Pocket knife, watch occasionally. Usually has more valuable stuff.
Right Back: Wallet, Gum. Name tag for work makes its way in there to.
Left Back: Schedual for movie start times at work, or anything on paper mostly.

As for why I carry my knife, no real reason. I just like my knife. It's a useful tool.

Left front-ID, Right front-Keys.

No knife, but I do have mace. Honestly, I think I'd prefer a knife. :/

right front: pens and/or phone
left front: wallet, keys, and now i bring a paper clip and this other thing, so i can pick my lock on my house if i lock myself out (i do that a lot)
jacket outside right pocket: drink if i have one (not talking about alcohol by the way)
jacket inside pocket: notes, memos etc.

i dont carry a knife, reason is because if i get caught i get fined £5000.

Wow, I hate full pockets.

Left: flat card-wallet with cards, IDs and bills
Right: 3 Keys

Ooh, a topic I can sink my teeth into. I too like equipped pockets. I usually wear BDU pants around home or in the woods. So most of the time. :D

Right Front: Pocketknife (Benchmade Vex), card wallet with ID, debit card, library card, etc. with Zebra telescoping pen clipped on, loose cash, loose change, 512mb flash drive.
Left Front: Nitecore D10 flashlight (130 lumens on one AA), Mini-Bic lighter. If I'm wearing jeans my SAK (Swiss Army Knife) goes in this pocket too.
Right Back: Usually nothing, sometimes my AG Russell Woodswalker (pocket fixed blade, tiny but it's like a scalpel) or Spyderco Native (another pocketknife :P).
Left Back: Nothing.
Right Cargo: Dog leash, several hanks of 550 paracord, various odds and ends depending on the day, ranging from a granola bar to another pocketknife (yes, I like knives).
Left Cargo: SAK, bandanna, lip balm.

I also usually have a fixed blade knife on my belt (lately a Frost's 740 Mora clipped to a carabiner on my belt) and my keys and Leatherman Micra on a carabiner clipped to a belt loop.

Edit: Yes, I carry a knife (knives, plural, almost always). I carry a knife because it is a valuable tool that no one should ever be without.

Myself and friends have been jumped/robbed/rolled on multiple occasions(especially when we were slinging dope).

My buddy PJ was stabbed in the ribs with two screwdrivers, one of which punctured his left lung. We called an ambulance but a half hour later it still wasn't there and we had to haul him to the nearest hospital.

Since then I've carried a knife with me everywhere I go. I've stopped selling, but I keep carrying it out of habit or something.

I've never had to use it, and hope I don't have to. But on more than one occasion I've flashed it and they bounced.

But yeah, it is useful as hell as a tool. I don't go a day without using it at least once.

front pockets: lighter, celly phone, bowl, medicine bottle for what ever drugs i might have [usually a select few pills or pot. tip* any container that lets your pot breathe keeps it fresher than a plastic baggie] assorted tobacco products excluding rolling tobacco.

right back pocket: wallet and tin foil for make shift bongs/pipes
left back pocket: rolling tobacco and papers

jacket pocket: coins and/or everything in my front pockets if i am wearing a jacket. easier access and i reach into my pockets for any number of things quite frequently.

Pockets are the shit. This what I have going on with my pants.

Front right pocket: Keys
Front right minipocket: Lighter, Zigzags, Visine, a sheet of paper for rolling on.
Hanging from the hoop just next to the opening of my front right pocket: A pen with a clip.
Front left pocket: A little address book, a notebook and occasionally a folded up large brown paper with some diagram I'm working on. (It's a paper bag which I can get from a cafeteria and open up when I want a bigger, easy to get medium.)
Back right pocket: Wallet, loose money, reciepts, other pieces of paper.
Back left pocket: I leave it open for when I may need an extra pocket. Regularly occupied by weed.

Front Right - Phone and money.
Front Left - Change.

Front right jeans pocket: Cell phone, maybe wallet, change.
Inside front left coat pocket: wallet
Right outside coat pocket: maybe wallet, maybe paperback book.
Left outside coat pocket: Maybe paperback book.
Right inside front pocket: silver crucifix, stakes, vial of holy water, torch, pitchfork, extra pitch for the torch, matches, portable windmill, portable spooky castle, a cubic foot of earth from Transylvania and the Vatican... Just kidding. Although I do have no idea how deep that pocket actually is, it may as well have all that stuff.

I never keep anything in my back pockets, and I never keep anything in my left front jean pocket.

I don't feel comfortable wearing trousers without pockets. Usually I keep one (usually the right) for spare change etc., and the left for less important things, or things I'm gonna use less. Most importantly I prefer deep or fastened pockets.

Deep pockets are a must. And the pants MUST be loose. I usually buy my pants a size bigger than I should. I hate having to force my hand in. It's what belts are for.

I buy all my clothes a size bigger anyways for comfort. If I can't do my stretches in the clothes without them feeling tight against me, I'm not interested.

Many pockets, but just one phone...where will it be. ._O

At most, usually a too heavy and too big wallet in one of the right pockets, and gum or mints, keys and phone spread amongst the left pockets.

The rest goes into my sexy side pack thingy-ma-bob.

Front left pocket: Wallet, work access badge, receipts
Front Right pocket: Cell phone, keys, change
Front right coat pocket: iPod

I tend to have lots of stuff in my pockets, and the content varies. I'll tell what's in them at the moment.

Upper left jacket pocket: some band-aids, card for public transport, other small things.
Upper right jacket pocket: two pens, lights for my bike, a swiss army knife, a lighter, and other things.
Lower left jacket pocket: my gloves, a lip balm, cell phone (if there are no pants in my trousers).
Lower right jacket pocket: Keys.
Inner jacket pocket: wallet.

Left trouser pocket: Cell phone.
Right trouser pocket: Keys (when not wearing jacket)

I don't usually put a bunch of stuff in my pants pockets, but I usually have a jacket or coat, so I use those pockets most of the time. I've also had too many things to through the wash, so if I do, it's something that won't be ruined. I'll put change or a small set of keys in my jeans pockets sometimes (though I also have a clip for my keys if I'm feeling so inclined and have a belt loop).

Usually the keys go in the right pocket of my coat, but I've been known to switch pockets without warning and then spend a few minutes trying to figure out where I put them. Right now there's also some receipts and a piece of candy. It's less likely to melt in a coat pocket.

I do carry a purse, though. I hate the thought of being somewhere and needing/wanting something and not having it. So, I carry around (or transfer to my backpack if I have my laptop) keys, cell phone, chapstick, eye drops, pepto bismul, gum, two small notepads, fingernail clippers (a must if bowling), candy/snacks, cleaning cloth for glasses or cell phone, sunglasses, asprin, USB drive, kleenex, credit cards, ID, gift cards, appointment slips, and a pocket knife. A purse is just a giant pocket.
