Tell me about Food
I have a bit of a food phobia. I'm really hungry right now though lol and the only thing available is Chili from Wendy's. It's been in the fridge for no longer than 5 days. It still smells okay.
Should I trust it or throw it out and suffer until morning when I can go to the store?

Fast food five days old? Personally, I'd eat it.
I'm nineteen and constantly hungry, as well as blessed with a strong constitution most of the time, though. I say load it down with hot sauce and go for it.

lol
I tried, and it tasted okay... but the thought of it maybe being bad creeped out my stomach, so I didn't eat more than a couple bites.
The dog will be happy though :D

Dogs do love chili. :chuckle:

I wouldn't eat it. Of course, I have bad luck with refridgerators. (Plastic 1/2 gallon milk goes bad in less than a week? Whut?)

My dog loved it. She has a stomach of steel lol
I wrote elsewhere that I only eat about once a day and that's fast food. *Logically* I realize they're probably not as clean as I make them out to be. But *emotionally* I tell myself they have rules and codes. If I have anything in my friedge or freezer I have to eat it within a couple days or I convince myself it's gone bad.
So when I say I have a bit of a food phobia, I'm not kidding lol
And if I cook, the kitchen has to be SPOTLESS or I fear contamination.
When my kids are with me, either I or my oldest son (who wants to grow up to be a chef) cooks for the family. But I'll eat beanies and weenies or something else from a can, or Ramen Noodles and the likes. The microwave is seldom up to my standards, so I have a water heater for instant soup meals and the rest I eat cold from the can.
It's incredibly annoying. But what can I do *shrugs* I already take meds for anxiety and see a counselor every month or more. SO I just live with it.
That sucks about your fridge! Can you buy a smaller one (they're like $60.00 or so at Wal-mart). When I have my kids I keep MY food in it and it works well.
