Tell me what I can do for my strait jacket (embroidery?)

Okay, so I got a strait jacket for Christmas.
      This one to be exact:

(I got the black, gimmicked, with two extra back straps)
So the black straps looks like this:

      Quote from the site:
Straight Jacket restraint is heavy duty , crotch strap is included. Made of heavy 10 oz. duck cloth canvas. The entire piece is sewn together using upholstery thread. Stitching is reinforced for strength. Heavy duty snap hooks and rings are made of nickel plated steel. This jacket is built to last for stage or play. We will add a front strap to keep the arms from going up over the head if you want one at no extra charge. Just e-mail me at the time you place the order.
Has 4 Snap hooks down the back, more are available for an additional charge
(I did not get the chest strap, but I did get the two extra back straps)..
So I was wondering what I can do to this to make it better...
      -Look more restrictive.
      -Look cooler.
      -Look more professional.
I am just bored right now at home, and my sister has a sewing machine and a bunch of material and thread etc..
I was thinking about adding my name to the inside using embroidery, but I don't think I can embroider using a regular sewing machine, can I?

      What I already have done-
1.Added another O ring to the arm strap for better adjustment
      2.Shortened the back arm strap.

Should I add more O rings to the back straps for better adjustment?
What can I do for the neck? It likes to ride up and burn my neck.
I use this on stage, and for play at home..
      Sooooo yeah..

For the neck, I'd recommend wearing a turtleneck shirt.

As far as any embroidery, if you're looking for something professional, take it to a professional. Often they have machines that will embroider a pattern from a computer template and unless you're really interested in spending the time, money, and effort on it, it will probably be your best bet.

oh, I dont think turtle necks look good in the summer.
I think I would just have to deal with it, like the official posey strait jacket, I am not sure how the neck is made on that one, I would have to look at it in real life, and unfortunately, I never have lol

Perhaps a sleeveless mock-neck. It wouldn't be as high as a turtleneck and wouldn't be as hot without the sleeves. It's just a thought.

I'm no seamstress, but perhaps you could sew (or have someone sew; I'm assuming it's very heavy fabric) some softer lining or even a thin padding where the jacket is rubbing against your neck. I'm not sure if you could have it altered to change the shape of the neck, but you could ask someone about that...

thanks I found some webbing like material that is really nice and soft (And its black).
So Ill put that on there.
I dont think I wana change the neck to much, because then I could just pull it over my head after I undo the crotch strap..

What about iron-on patches? And for the neck, adding in a bit of padding may be best for what you want, but be careful not to add so much, or in such a way, that it hinders getting it on and off while performing.

I also edited the title and a bit of your post for spelling, might help get better answers.

      Ok, thanks MoS.
I was going to but I just dint. No excuse.
But yeah it fells alot better with the soft webbing over the hard webbing now. woohoo.
I looked it up, and theres this thing called "Free hand embroidery" or something like that.
Its were you use a normal sewing machine.
so I got that figured out.
