Hmmm... I wouldn't go to one alone myself - but I don't see any harm in it, although around here it's not the place you go to to make friends...

Well, it doesn't matter anymore, i met up with some flatmates and we ended up going pub and then to a house party. Met some cool people, can't complain to be honest!

Night Clubs. Ive been to many here in Minneapolis. there was once a two week stretch during highschool where my friends and I went five days eack week. we were only 18-19 at the time. dang, just got a rush of memories. Its not like going to a bar or pub. The atmosphere is different. Clubs are hot, smelly, and dripping with sex and drugs. My home boys and i would roll up bumping some sick bass line music, and prep eachother. stuff like, "hell yea we're gunna rock this sh**", "ya the first person to dance with 10 girls gets their money back!" "how do i look?" "looks like youre getting pu***, thats whats up!" we'd have a predetermained prep song that we'd play before going inside. have a few quick shots and smoke a bowl, then we were off. once you get to the door, you can hear the music inside, feel that bass, hear those people. Then you walk in and BOOM, it hits you. Youre at a club, and its awsome! i would always first start by taking a lap of the dance floor. get a feel of the mood, lookin for which girls id dance with first. Now i wasnt looking at which girls werent dancing with guys, thats a misstake. Instead, look for girls that are already dancing with guys, youve got a better chance sliding in on those girls. I would make mental notes like this: Girl, brown hair, red top, white skirt, ok i'll be back for her after this song and then that blonde with the glasses and tight jeans next to her. Planning is only half the battle. CONFIDENSS!!!!! I cant stress this enough!!! DONT SECOND GUESS YOURSELF!!!! NO SECOND CHANCES!!!!! remind yourself, this is what i came for, i want to dance with her. Force your feet forward and go for it! now the worst that can happen is she will turn around and push you back. It will happen to you at some point! just be ready for it. I smile and laugh, but right there is my key starting point. From her, i work my way outward in a spiral parttern, trying on each girl till i find one that fits. Now, sorry but im lucky. Im cute and I can dance very well, so i dont get turned down very often. But when you do get turned down, remember your confidence and dont just walk off the dance floor!!!!!!! Gosh i saw that SOOOO much. other girls ARE WATCHING YOU!!!! If they see you giving up that easy, then yup, they wont want to dance with you either. one terrifying thing for most new guys is trying to work a group of girls, like 6 to 8. Those girls came as a group and dance as a group. period. (my specialty lol) about three of those girls have boyfriends so they wont dance with you, i can tell from their eyes (another gift u gotta work on). I usually pick out the least attractive one and start there, better odds, lets call her "G1". work it, show off a little, but not much. smile, laugh, sell yourself to her friends and not the one you are dancing with. your goal is to work towards the girl you really like, "G3". while dancing with G1, im eyeing G3, but not much. Once i think the time is right, feeling the mood, I jump into the center of the girl's circle and switch places with G1 so see is behind me, but still dancing with her. now you are front and center, they all see you, no choice. showboat some more and pick G2, second choice. flirting little here and there (fall back point incase G3 has a BF), but remember your goal, G3. while selling yourself to the group, i like to make a fool of myself, it makes them laugh. It also shows i have more confidence. but during this whole time, im always shooting glances back at G3, soon she tends to pick up on the hints. I can tell from her body language if she's ready. (again, another skill to pick up on) if they are playing a crazy bumpin song, i stay in the middle and work the group (makes other guys jelous/ puts them on tilt, better odds for me). Im waiting for a slower song, (again, depends on the mood) to make my final move towards G3. Now during this whole time you need to be warry of other guys, waiting to prey on your behalf. If I see a guy moving in on G3, Ill grab her hands and pull her into the circle, spinning her away from the intruding dick and just start dancing with her but not in a traditional grind, just a happy-go-lucky, "im having fun" kind of way. (hard to discribe) So lets say the time is right, G3 feels ready, then bang i make the move. Dont second guess, youve worked to hard for this. Id rather grind face to face with G3 to start, its more intamit. rock her for a song and then spin her around. Grab her hips and let the REAL workout begin. Just hot, sweaty grinding and groping, im talkin just crazy sexy dancin! I always save my best moves for my nightly "G3", lol. If G3 wants to control the dancing, let her, dont over power her, see what she's got. If she is shy at first, timid about dancing, then take control and start slow. show her you know what youre doing! I dont like making serious moves like grabing boobs or going up her skirt (seen it, done it). If i play my cards right, id be doing that all night any way!!

so there ya go. Night Clubs. few things i didnt mention. watch out for drunks, puke, and gang members. If you bump into a guy bigger than you, ALWAYS apoligize. If you spill his drink, buy him two. If he spills yours, dont start sh** unless you can finish it. girls in short skirts are there for sex and long term dancing. girls in long pants are new, clubs are way too hot for those cloths, generally speaking. dont use the bathroom unless you really really need to. dont be surprized to see people cutting coke in the bathroom, keep your mouth shut. keep your money in your socks or shoes. if the guy next to you lights a joint, dont call the cops, hit it or move on. drug deals are happening all around you in back corners and dark blind spots (fyi). girls dancing on the stage or polls are easy pickins to dance with, those girls like to show off, help them out. thats about it in a nut shell.

i knew this post would offend some poeple, and to be honest, i dont really care. someone wanted info on night clubs, well let me tell ya, ive got plenty of info on it. if you dont like the truth about something, thats fine. Just keep it to yourself. you should learn some manners. Thanks.

He's basically right. Clubs are generally for dancing, hooking up and getting messed up.

Pubs and bars are generally for hanging out with your friends, laughing, telling jokes, meeting new people and playing games.

Personally I can't stand clubs, and I live in an area full of them. They really just bore the crap out of me. But everyone is different.

A night club is a good way to spend $100 without remembering how or why, accompanied by losing articles of clothing, cellphones, and memory.

Seriously dude, you need to consider organization when you write something like that.

Yeah, it was hard to read. But it made me think of all the things me and my friends do at my night clubs. Things dont change that much from place to place to be honest.

But there are very different types of clubs, too.
And in my experience, there are also a variety of people, who go there.

Anyways... I liked them somewhat, once in a while, a few years ago. Not
really anymore, though. Not at all actually

But I never had a 'power up' song before I went into one..

Adrenaline Junkie, depends on what club you go to. The one I tend to go to is PACKED. Barely any places to sit down and take a breather. So I dun really enjoy clubbing.

It's kinda sad to see 1 person going clubbing by him/herself. 99.5% of the time I see groups of ppl of more than 2. The chicks I've went clubbing with, always reject any guys that are loners. To us, they seem desperate and sad.

You'll most likely get rejected alot unless the chicks there are totally wasted or you're really attractive. So just a heads up.

Iono really lol. Some dudes are really subtle about it, but some are really stubborn (we migrate to a diff area for the latter). We tend to just dance in the same area so the same guys dance around there too. So any dude that's within our eyesight radius would tend to give it a go (if they're not already dancing with another chick).

I have been to 2. One was LOUD! and there was a guy in the bathroom with all his calognes and stuff. I kept giving him $2 tips for no reason everytime i left, and i left maybe 5 times. There was also alot of dancing obviously. The other one i went to was a mellow one. Most of the people sat around with their friends and talked but othertimes danced. It was above a strip club, and guess where i was before this club? yes, i was at the strip club having a blast with some ex work buddies. Strip clubs are also cool but this is not about strip clubs so i'll STFU.

I have only been to one. What struck me most was that the music was too loud to pick up girls.
