Tell me about acupuncture

Thanks to the "similar thread" feature, I see a thread with 4 replies.. None really answering anything..

So here are my questions:

1. Have you had acupuncture?
2. Why did you decide to get acupuncture
3. Would you recommend it?
4. How bad did it hurt?

Also any other comments you want to add would be great.. I am thinking about getting it because I get constant migraines.. sometimes the sharp pain ones, but migraines can also cause dizziness which I have all the time. I'm on some medicine but it doesn't really work.
