Thread: Tell me about Eyebrow Piercings

One kid I knew pierced his eyebrow himsef and completely fucked it up. He took it out a few days later and it healed up fairly quickly. That may have only been because he had it for only a few days though...

It probably depends on how long you've had it for. You can't take it out for the first two months or so or it will probably close up (if it's anything like other piercings). I'd go with a barbell, personally. I think eyebrow rings are silly, except some people can pull them off (like lip rings in the middle...).

As for the ear piercings - just don't use a gun, or let anyone use an ear gun to pierce you. They're really dirty and normally aren't cleaned properly, not to mention it really scars and shocks the tissue. No good. I'd say do it yourself, but I'm not sure how smart you are. Are they sterile needles? Make sure they're sterile. Do you have sterile jewelry as well? All important things.

Yah, i have a couple hollow needles in single sterilized packages. I'd use a titanium/surgical steel stud and id clean it with a prep pad and flame.

Well, I'd probably do it. But then again I'm the type of person to give homemade tattoos. Just be careful and sterile and all that. I'm sure it'll be fine. Plus, you can always take out a piercing if it looks really bad. However, I highly suggest you don't do the eyebrow. There are nerve endings there where if you hit the wrong ones can paralyze your face, or so I'm told.

I did my ear. looks good, no signs of infection. when it's healed should i stretch it to 14 gauge and then stay or go a little bit further? I don't really want a big ass stretched ear, so should i just get some fake plugs to see if i like it? and if i go to 10, i can always down size alot quicker then if i go to say 6 or 4. i'm probably going to put one of these in when it's done healing, right now i have a diamond stud in.

So, it's a 16 I'm assuming? Go ahead and stretch it. Don't stretch too rapidly (as in 12 to 00). If you don't like it at a 12 it'll shrink up if you just put 16g jewelry back in it.

I find that with all the talk about the end of the world, a time when men have learned judgment, and the fact that there are so many . . . . well the whole comparative thing kind of reminds one of someone yelling that they can fly.
