Is Liquor a problem?
I'm a college student and I live in a town widely known for partying, so going out and partying on occasion is nearly an inevitability. I had my first LD last week and I've been improving recall tremendously. But since friday morning, I haven't been able to recall any dreams. Does alcohol reduce one's ability to remember dreams even days after consumption?

I had a lucid dream on Friday night after I got smashed outta my mind.... So I would probably say no, but it might depend on the person.
-
Yeah, I got wasted thursday night and had a drunk dream (I was drunk in the dream) but ever since the next morning it feels like my self awareness has dropped and I can't remember any dreams

Well I remember 4 dreams from last night, so like I said, it might depend from person to person. Another thing is that it just might be nothing to do with the alcohol.... maybe its just a small lapse in the recall. it happens. You can lay still in bed after you wake up. it helps a lot the recall.

I got pretty drunk last night and had a lucid this morning. Not sure how drinking affects general recall, though. I would think the tendency to sleep in after a night of drinking would help with dreams, but maybe if you can't sleep in late it would hurt recall.

I think it decreased my awareness for a short while. I'm back on track as of this morning remembering six seperate dreams.

It does affect your recall negatively. Not always though, but in general, yes.

One of the most active nights I've had in terms of dreaming, with 7 recalled dreams and 1 half-second lucid, was when I was quite drunk.
