Some Ideas I've Been Working On
i've been having major problems trying to WILD again.
i can sometimes get into the HI/buzzing stage reliably enough, but it never seems to lead anywhere, the problem being that i'm fixated on my body and the real surroundings. i'm trying to train myself to be able to let go of that.
some thing i've been practicing:
- visualise what it would be like to be sleeping on the bed in the opposite orientation. thinking about and visualising the furniture in the room and the rest of the world in this new direction. i'm thinking that this might disrupt the connection to reality enough to be able to drift off into lucid dreamland. this i think might work quite well, because tactile sensations won't be conflicting.
- imagine having an out of body experience, and what i'd see and feel
- imagining sounds seems particularily good at drawing my attention away from my real self. i guess it takes more concentration for me to do this.
