In both of the times that I've realised that I'm dreaming, I never felt excited, the dream never fades, I just sort of accept it. Have these dreams actually been lucid? Because I heard that most people have trouble stabilising the dream out of excitement.
Also, does this happen to anyone else?
Those were definitely Lucid, because you knew you were dreaming. :) It's perfectly fine to not feel excited. That's just kind of the main emotion you read the most of around here. :chuckle: And because you are calm after getting Lucid, it's not surprising that the dream is perfectly stable. :) That's kind of like the ones I've had; sure, there's a quick rush, but for the most part, I'm calm, and the dreams never fade. (That, and I do some had rubbing, just in case. ;))
For some reason, this is the case for me with DILDs. I realize I am dreaming, but the realization does not create any kind of excited rush. For the most part.
Now, with my few DIELD experiences... holy shit. I don't know if I was just "more" lucid or what, but the excitement, euphoria, serenity, beauty, etc. was just so intense.
