Got lucid quite easily. Not a method but something to keep in mind....
I went to sleep at night (honestly not even thinking about lucid dreaming... it's a little hard to find time to do the methods) and woke up much earlier than usual. There was a bizarre, bad smell in my room when I got up to use the bathroom so went I got back in bed I did a reality check (finger through palm) and went back to sleep quickly. Next thing I know, I'm telling myself it's just a dream and was quickly lucid. It was clear and vivid but I kept losing clarity, so I clapped my hands and it picked back up. It was nice, it felt so real! I was even flying (more like gliding above the ground). I know I'm captain obvious, but just remember to reality check every time you wake up and want to go back to sleep, and you could be successful :)
By the way, when I woke up again the bad smell was gone. I have no idea what it was.
