2. When I feel tired enough.
3. When I know that I wont be able to fall asleep again :p.
4. Yesterday and today I have been sleeping for 3-4 hours a few times throughout the day and just 3 hours ago I had a lucid and also pulled off a DEILD which is my first time.

1. I go to sleep at irregular times, but always wake up about three or four hours after.
2.11:00-12:00 pm.
3. School days, at 5:30 (30 minutes before my alarm, every singel time :/). Weekends, around 8:00, but fall asleep several more times until I hit 11:00 XD

I've been on a routine for over a week now that has TOTALLY increased my dream recall, control, and lucidity. I'll answer the questions given my routine:
#1-2: Yes. I try to go to bed between 9:30 and 10:30. On the nights I get to bed later, the odds of lucidity seem to decrease for me.
#3: I normally wake up naturally after 5-6 hours of sleep between 3:00 and 5:00 and can't/won't go back to sleep for 20-60 minutes, depending on how active my mind is. I have good dream recall, though most of my lucid dreams have been occurring after falling back asleep between the hours of 5:30-8:00. I shoot for 9 hours of sleep a night... my life has become dedicated to this pursuit.
#4: Yes, as I said before, my routine has increased my recall and lucidity exponentially. Writing everything down, among other waking practices like eating well, exercise, and meditation have helped too.
#5: Every night at LEAST one time since I started getting serious about this routine. Sometimes 2-3 times. I'm better at WILDind than DILDing, but lately I've been DILDing more often as well. I've seen nothing but continual progress since I've made the effort to discipline my mind and create this routine.

1. During weekdays I don't vary more than an hour, but weekends are all over the place.
2. Weekdays I go to sleep from 8-10ish to 06:30 at the very latest to drive to work. Weekends vary drastically depending on a number of things. I try LDs a lot on weekends and generally while napping.
Sometimes it's around the same time as the weekday, while other times I might stay up late. Usually my body tried to kick me out of rhythm and keep me up all night.
3. Well WBTBs are my main method for inducing LDs, so I get up 4.5 - 6 hours in if I try it. I tend to stay up an hour. Occasionally I try to stay in bed and still attempt an LD. I general I just sleep between 8-11 hours. Mileage varies of course.
4. I would say so. I think catching my body relatively tired helps me have more vivid LDs. If I have 10-12 hours of room for sleep, I can generally have an LD, but they are sometimes not very vivid. I feel at times the quality of the sleep I got beforehand has a big effect on whether or not this works out.
5. The number in my sigs include the ones I personally feel were vivid and distinct enough to mean something to me.
That's very interesting. Is there any part of your routine (meditation, nutrition etc) that you would say has contributed most to your continual success? For me, mine have mostly increased from meditation; however, it's difficult for me to find the window of opportunity most conducive to WILDs (possibly because of my erratic sleeping patterns).Quote:

Going to bed with even a semi full stomach sucks balls. I try to eat a small breakfast, a huge lunch, and a small dinner. (Mainly start work a little later than most... I only work about 5-6 hours a day, 4 days a week.) Small dinners has helped a ton. Digesting food can fuck with your cycles.
That small contributing factor aside, I would say the MOST beneficial thing I have been doing has been getting to bed at a decent hours with an adequate amount of sleep, and being VERY serious about recording my dreams.
I can't prove it, but I'll share with you from personal experience that when you show your subconscious/Higher Self that you are dead serious about waking your self up by writing down as MUCH as you can remember from altered states of consciousness, it responds by providing more of the same.
Oh- and another huge factor that isn't discussed a lot is fear. Fear in either waking life or dream life fucks with your abilities a LOT. Figuring out the source of your fears and overcoming them... either in waking life or the dream life, have helped me a great deal.
