Amgosh I almost forgot!
Thanks for the reminder!
Oh, and it's also the same day as the winter solstice.
Sadly it will probably be cloudy here still :( But I heard there will be two next year, but it was on yahoo so we will see :p
I don't see how Yahoo is the top visited site in the world o-o
Dreaming?
That worked out pretty well for me. I went outside at 3:00 but couldn't see the eclipse behind the clouds. I did a reality check right away and walked down the street to make sure it wasn't just behind a tree or the house, but still no luck, so I went right back to bed.
In my dream just before waking I could see the eclipse just starting from where I had originally seen the moon before first going to bed. The shadow was moving much faster than I had anticipated so I ran inside to wake my wife and son to make sure they wouldn't miss it. By the time they got out the eclipse was in full swing and I was using my hands to explain to my son how the earth was blocking the light from the sun.
However, I couldn't explain or figure out why the shadow was moving fast enough to see, and suspected that I was dreaming. Before I could act on it my lucidity faded as the moon was full again and it turned out that the eclipse was caused by a comet. Suddenly small meteorites were crashing all around us and I decided that it is pointless to try and jump out of the way as they were moving too fast. Before anyone got hurt my alarm woke me up.
So I challenge you all to set your alarm to go see the next full moon in the middle of the night, and I guess tonight still counts!
