Audio Hallucinations Before Falling a Sleep - Am I closer to WILD then ever before?

Well, before I go to sleep I like to think/imagine things. Or I try to recap what happened to me that day and plan for tomorrow. Or I imagine random things: me having conversations, battles, video games, stupid ideas for youtube videos...
But some times interesting stuff happens, for example: I imagine listening to music, then for some odd reason there's strange noise in my ears, I hear notes from that noise. Then I think of something else, like some one saying my name. Suddenly I hear my name echoing in my ears, like hearing it in my ears. I've had these for a while, so I am not really scared of them, but some times I just get out of control and my mind quickly snaps back into full awareness and coinsciousnes (that's a hard word to spell, and the dictionary wont help me :) ). When I am hallucinating like that I feel really sleepy and dreamy, but conscious so maybe if I can go through the hallucinations I can preform a WILD? Help me out here@ :P

You are just experiencing hypnagogic phenomena, I experience it most nights. Night time is the worst time to attempt to have a WILD. Read the subforum on WILD's if you want to learn :)

Our brainwaves naturally go from Alpha (relaxed) to Theta (daydreaming) to Delta (deep sleep) . Sounds like you are in Theta when you hear your auditory hallucinations. Its natural. Your brain is going through its shut sown process. Try visualizing something relaxing during this stage. Happy dreaming! :shadewink:
