Lucid Dream-Exits?
Recently I've noticed something peculiar about my dreams... I nearly always become lucid just as they start to fade. This leaves me with about a second of lucidity each time, and I can never seem to prolong the dream as the visuals are already disintegrating. Does this happen to everyone? Anyways, this puts me in a very good position for DEILD, as I exit each dream fully aware of the dream state. However, I just can't calm my body down enough to slip back into the dream world, or even induce HI. Any advice or similar experiences? Cheers,
Telemachus

When you notice that the dream starts to fade as you are entering normal consciousness and become lucid your dream body is still separate from your physical body. Immediately dive downwards with your dream body. Don't worry about the ground or floor as the dream fades, just dive. The dream will completely disappear and you will feel yourself plummeting through the darkness fully awake and conscious but not in your physical body. The first time I did this I eventually hit a wall, which didn't hurt, and then emerged in a house fully lucid in a different dream.

Thanks mcwillis, I'll try that. I'm also thinking about incubating my next dream while still in my previous dream; don't know if I have enough time though.
