help with becoming lucid
ok so i just made a account on here to help with starting to lucid dream. i have already started a dream journal for like a week and have been remembering dreams. i have been performing reality checks throughout the day often. i wanted some info on the WILD technique and i also wanted to know what sleep paralysis is.

WILD with WBTB is when you wake up after a REM cycle (preferably the later ones) and you go back to sleep without moving WHATSOEVER! you must stay awake by doing somethng like counting your breathing. Soon you will feel the urge to switch your position, DO NOT!!!!! Then you will enter sleep paralysis in which your body is paralyized. you will see swirls of colour known as hypnagogic Imagery (HI or HH) Then if you continue long enough, poof, your in an LD. I may have missed a few key points so anyone corrent me if I'm wrong :D lol

ok so i should set my alarm or somthing to wake me up or what? im new to this so yea lol. and also wats the easyest technique to do sleep paralysis
-
have the alarm clock wake you up 6 hours after you fall asleep. Easyest way is to NOT move.

I would suggest setting the alarm 5 hours after you anticipate falling asleep. This is simply because our big human brain likes to dream in 100 minute cycles. 5 x 60 = 300 minutes. Simple math. Do not move (except to turn alarm off) and visualize a calming scene while affirming you will awaken in a dream. Good luck to you!
