Almost DEILD?
SO last night I had an almost DEILD -- I was in a dream (non-lucid) it ended abruptly, I lay still for a while, not conscious of the fact I had just exited a dream. Finally, I remembered when the dream ended and concluded I was awake. I focused my intention on my last dream, little images starting appearing, they were moving around. I noticed the beach was in one of them... I focus on it, it became bigger and more vivid, (note: I was in SP) all of a sudden, the SP was gone and all the images faded.
What happened?
It was very cool to experience this though, hoping next time I can actually enter the dream :P

I've had weird LD flash dreams, too. They are very cool when they happen but are over quickly. Visualization and dreaming occur in the secondary visual cortices of our big human brain. It is a well known fact that our brains will make an attempt to complete an interrupted dream ( message me if you want a reference) . Dreaming and consciousness (i.e. LDs) are a precarious balance. A single thought of awareness can pull us out of an LD. It reminds me of a joke. 'I went to the doctor and told him 'if i move my arm like this it hurts'. He told me 'well, then, don't move your arm like that'. Enhancing a LD experience is subjective and learned over times (even, in my case, decades).
