WBTB problem.
Alright, so the last times i have attempted a WBTB it has taken me a long time to go back to sleep. I lay there and toss and turn. Now my problem has escalated. I just attempted one and now i can not go back to sleep. I now get to go through my day with only about 5 hrs of sleep, out-freaking-standing.
What am I doing wrong? Is it normal to take a long time to go back to sleep?
I'm not discouraged from trying this method again, i'm just pissed off!
Should i just wake up earlier? Oh and BTW i fell asleep around 12 and woke up at 4:50.
I had the idea of going to bed at ten and waking up at around 3:30. But before i went to bed and woke up around 4:30.
Any help is appreciated.

Well, how long are you staying awake during WBTB? The idea is to not wake yourself up too much to where you can't go back to sleep. I usually only stay awake long enough to write down my dreams and the return to sleep. You may be staying up too long, thus waking yourself up too much.

If you are thinking about lucid dreaming too much whilst trying to fall asleep that can keep you up.
Of course, thinking about lucid dreaming would be good, but try thinking about lucid dreaming whilst up, then just concentrate on falling asleep only.

Yeah, that could have woke you up a bit too much. Me and two of my friends all have birthdays within 5 days of each other. So we decided to just throw a week long party :P. I've been partying solid since Thursday. I should make it back into IRC Tuesday.
