Lucid dream or not?
Hello,
Last night I had in a dream, near the end, I sort of knew that it was a dream, I didn't really think about it much though I didn't need to.
I ran into a BigW and thought "cool now I can get a ps3 to play God of war 3 and I other stuff.. For free!" (I know it's lame, I guess I was testing the general dream to see how it felt).
Though after I tried to project my will I started feeling as if I was "day dreaming" more than sleeping because I felt more concious of my eyes. I did attempt to throw a lighting bolt, which didn't work and the dream itself wasnt how clear people say a LD is, it was dream-like no great vividness.
Maybe I didn't quite fully realize what it meant?
Long story short by having a dream that I knew I was dreaming and to a very little extent controlled it but it felt like an ordinary dream and a little "distant", did I achieve anything I can build from or was it nothing much?

I think it was a semi lucid, based on the ones i have had.

Just keep writing down your dreams and keep trying to become lucid. Vividness will come as your dream journal grows.

Yep that's a lucid dream I did the EXACT same thing last night, it's not considered a good lucid dream but it is still one. And ya I would consider it a semi lucid dream like Osmodin said. You really need to have the dream after 4-6 hours of sleep, a semi lucid dream happens sometimes after those 4-6 hours for me.
