just keep trying. it's very easy.

try keeping still when you wake up, concentrating and trying to remember your dreams from last night.

and remember to write everything down in your dream journal.

I sometimes don't remember very long and vivid dreams right when I wake up but what works for me is I get into the shower and close my eyes and think about the night and my dreams. It's just a nice relaxing place to remember your dreams with no distractions.

      1st, You ALWAYS dream

2nd, Everyone has dry spells and if you're just starting then you cant expect to be an expert

3rd, Just lay in bed for a couple minutes thinking, that'll help

Wake your self up during the early morning hours (2-6 am) and go back to sleep 10 minutes - an hour.
To enhance your experience, attempt WBTB (which is basically what I just said but with your focus on lucid dreaming)
At the fork in the road I turned left while everyone else turned right..

He doesn't want a lucid, well he might, but right now he wants to remember his dreams...

Fair enough though for me it is much easier to remember dreams after waking up and then going back to sleep.
Its probably to do with REM cycles and awareness being increased.

I actually am looking for lucid, but im also working on remembering. I slept for 5 hours last night, woke up, took a shower, waited for about 45 min, went back to bed. I had my alarm set for 2 hours to wake me up, but it must not have, slept for like 4 more. Woke up not thinking i had a dream, but i did see something later in the day that sparked a memory of last night. Not alot of the dream, but its a start!
