Lucidity and a Mind Machine

Hi All,

Many years ago, I created a mind machine program on my proteus light and sound mind machine.

Whilst I have done many experiments, it is generally not possible to use a mind machine to directly drive you into a lucid dream, even though some have reported such.

I however discovered that what ever brain entrainment was experienced affected my brainwaves after the entrainment and gave my mind the freedom to enter specific states without being driven in a strict way.

Hence, a program was developed that enabled me to use it in the early hours to relax my body more and to increase awareness. The results of this program was that 80% of the time, after using the program, I would have a lucid dream experience within an hour or so.

This of course sounds great, but the original program unfortunately has been lost.

So I have decided to reconstruct a new program in the hope of duplicating and improving this lucid dream induction system.

I have constructed the program today, so tomorrow morning will be the first trial of this new program. Nothing may happen, but if it does I will post it here.

I will then let you all know what the program comprises of if you are interested depending on if it works?.

Hi all,

well the first night was not as good as it could have been.
I think this was due to less alpha stimulation than was on the previous program.

I did however remember some dreams, but they were only just remembered!

So the program will need to be edited. This I will do over the weekend.
I will let you know if this then becomes a bit more successful.

This is really interesting, I would love to hear how this works, I don't know a lot about his stuff but find it fascinating. Eagerly anticipating any further results, magus!

Much better results now the program has been tweaked.
Ok, I know it has been some time since I last posted, but I have been busy and the time to test the program has not arrived.
Over this week I have tweaked the program and this time it seemed to work much better.

First sign of it working was the music.
Before you enter a fully lucid state, if you are fully conscious you will reach a state where you hear things. This can be voices or with me music. I heard music and realised I was on my way to being lucid visually.

After a short time;

I then found myself walking down a very steep street with several people.
The houses were old fashion, like the ones you would see in the Victorian times in the UK.
I went into a shop that had lots of old leather bound books in it.
The shop owner was an old man with glasses sat on the end of his nose.
I asked him if he had any very old esoteric books in his collection, he looked at me as if he did not know what I meant. His face then lit up and he said, “ah, yes, I have one.”
I thought this should be interesting.
He went to a glass cabinet and pulled out an old leather folder. It was not as old as it looked though it had a zip around it.
I opened it and inside was just a piece of leatherbook covering. I felt disappointed as he really did not understand what I wanted, so I left the shop.

Things faded...

I found myself lying on a sofa. Someone was pushing a pram by the side of the sofa, I decided to concentrate on the pram without moving to see if I could stay with that image, but after a time the detail faded and dissolved.

I then found myself in a room by a window. Outside the window I could see some very nice country landscape. I decided to open the window and it opened very easily. I jumped through the window and found myself outside. I could feel the air against my skin and the air felt fresh.
I did not seem to know what to do then and became indecisive and once again everything faded.

End of experiments today.

The results from today, were very good, with quit a bit of consciousness present.
Slightly different results to the original program, but I suppose that is now due to the frequencies being used.

In the original program, I had a lot of sleep paralysis experiences with people in the room ect.
I will try the program again soon to check to see if the results are repeatable.
It may also be of interest in the future to develop another program with more emphasis on SP, to help with Astral projection, maybe.

Wow, Finally back online..:D

I just come across this thread again and thought I should maybe continue with this research.
I will have to get back to it mind you, in about two weeks as I have to go away next week.
I also have some ideas on a new dream machine, that could help induce lucids, but this will also have to wait until I have sorted out what I need and how to build it for a prototype.

If anyone comes across this and would like to learn more, then please post, as this will prompt me to get on with it more...:lol:

I have one of these mind machines and would be interested in knowing more about how it can be used as an aid for lucid dreaming :)

I wish I had one of these, but as of now I'm jobless so I have to do things unaided pretty much, but this sounds Very interesting!

It's a fun device, but I think you can do anything you can do with this machine with a bit of meditation anyway.
