Yay lucid then fail :(
So, I have had a lucid dream after about 3 weeks of waiting. I had took a nap at a friends telling myself I would lucid dream. So I was soon in a large field with my friend and his brother when one of them pointed out a "scary dog". I look around to see two neighborhood dogs, very big but sweet dogs (one looked like this) http://dog-breeds-spot.com/wp-conten...n-ovcharka.jpg So I told them not to worry about them. Then they pointed out another dog which look like a massive wolf,http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs41/i/20..._by_yuumei.jpg(subtact the 31 and that's about the same) we began to run for my friends house I his brothers and me were in and time began to slow down. I told my friend to get inside the wolf was looming over him, I then noticed his shirt and it was blue one of my triggers so I did a RC and bam lucid for like a second, my dream went dark and collapsed.
How can I prevent this in the future? please and thank you

Stimulate your sences.
Feel around you.
Smell the air.
Listen to the sounds.
It should keep you in that dimension.

try to do lucid earlier in the night gives you more time to dream

And the other thing that the above posters didn't say was: STAY CALM! Adrenaline wakes you from your dream.
