Entry into lucid dreaming

Hi everyone. This is my first post, I'm a healthy 21 year old male from Australia. I am very happy I have found this site as I always thought I was alone in not only my lucid dreaming, but SP and some visions I encounter.

The main way I enter Lucid dreaming is really only mainly chance. What happens is I have a dream, a very vivid and easily remembered dream, where events take place that are extremely undesirable (an example would be me being caught by the police or something very embarrassing happening to me in front of many people.) At this stage the events/dream are so undesirable that I am able to tell myself that it is so undesirable that I will not accept the way the dream is playing out. It is only at this stage that I become lucid.

It is hard to explain but it seems the only way for me to begin lucid dreaming is to have a dream where I will simply not accept the way things are playing out because of the repercussions.

Does anyone else know what I mean? Do you use this technique? What do you do once you are Lucid?

Yes this happens to me although instead of undesirable it is the desirable things for me that work.
Once i'm lucid i usually walk around with nothing to do. :) unless i set an intention the night before to do something.
