Sounds before sleep paralysis?
After a failed attempt at sleep paralysis this morning, I noticed something.
I had woken up about 5.5 hours after I went to bed, worked out for about an hour and showered and went back to bed. As I was laying on my back waiting to fall asleep to hopefully end up in sleep paralysis, I noticed that every once in a while I heard a noise. It wasn't coming from outside of my body and it sounded like the sound you hear when you yawn except much more intense. The longer I was in that position the more frequently and louder the noises got. It sounded almost like static once. It just came in unpredictable bursts. This was not subtle by any means
Is this typical before the start of sleep paralysis or an indicator of a sleep paralysis experience to come? The reason why I ask this is because I don't have much experience with sleep paralysis but I would like to know if I'm on the right track.
Does this happen to anyone else?
