Obviously if we keep a DJ we pay more attention to dreams, and recall improves. But is there more to it than that? And is it worth considering what we mean when we say "pay more attention" to see if there's a way to refine that attention so that it leads to more LDs in the long term?
I'm not sure keeping a DJ is so much about paying attention to dreams (although that helps) as it is about working out your dream memory muscle, so to speak. The more you exercise your memory the better you get.
Also I'm not sure if this was just a typo but keeping a DJ doesn't make you have more dreams or more likely to dream, it makes you able to remember more dreams.
