Wierd moment of transition..any ideas?

Im not quite sure what this fits into, since noone has mentioned anything like it before.

Basically, regardless of technique used, the moment I realize I'm in a dream it feels like all my neurons go off simultaneously, the entire dream scene flashes a blinding white, and I wake up, all within miliseconds.

Fourth time its happened in a row, and its getting quite annoying...any idea what this might be?

Most likely what is happening is your brain has gone into panic mode. When first starting out, your brain has never been in a situation where it knows that everything it sees isn't real and it doesn't understand what's going on. It needs the logical part of your brain to try and figure it out, in order to do that, it has to wake you up. This will stop after only a few lucids because your brain will no longer panic.

I'm so glad there are knowledgeable people like you on this site... I had a similar question like this and I got like 16 different answers... None of which were even close to yours :)... THANK YOU!!!!!
