Now I been having some intense, fun, wierd dreams.. but I can only visualize them. I CANNOT control them. I feel myself touching things, even my eyes blinking in the dream! :) But for some reason I just can't quite begin lucid dreaming as soon as a dream starts. Is there anyway I can realize I'm dreaming and take control of that dream even though I did not try to have a lucid dream before I went to sleep? All thoughts would be helpful. Thank you. :)

What techniques are you using, are you even trying to lucid dream? I get very realistic dreams which aren't lucid.

OP, do you do reality checks in waking life? If awareness in everyday doesn't transfer over to your dreams for you, you would try some MILD. Check out Naiya's Wild Tutorial ;)
Reality checking in real life has never worked for me - I always end up doing a reality check in dreams after I realise that I am dreaming, just to confirm that I really am dreaming. But it might RCs might work for the OP.
Saturating my mind about lucid dreaming, by reading material before sleeping, and keeping a dream journal achieved results for me.
