Beginners Luck?
So I have been practicing Lucid Dreaming for the past 2 months. I started off by reading books and browsing the internet. I have had pretty good success but not as much as my brother. He doesn't use any techniques, he doesn't read about lucid dreaming or even show that much interest. Everything he knows about lucid dreaming comes from the things I have told him. He has very long and vivid lucid dreams almost every night.
How do you explain his incredible success? Is it talent? Is it the medication he's taking? Am I influencing him psychically?Or is it beginners luck?

He's a natural... what a douche.
in life there is always the brother that is good at everything... then theres us :(

I know right? Even when I first told him about lucid dreaming, he was like "oh ya i get that a lot where I know I am dreaming." Then I was like "are you sure?" and sure enough he has frequent lucid dreams without even trying. Although he can't remember them very well.

Hi there my friend.
Your brother's probably a natural lucid dreamer. Though he discovered lucid dreaming through you, it's possible that his natural lucid dreaming abilities were activated when you taught him about LD(it's like, hidden talent). If this is not the answer, it's probably his age(kids tend to lucid dream and recall dreams more than adults). But don't be turned off just because your brother's a natural. All ways remember that even if you're a natural or not, YOU CAN LUCID DREAM. And there's something non-naturals have that the naturals doesn't: The feeling of victory when you have a short Lucid Dream. Don't you see it, even though we have a short lucid dream, we come in here in DV, proud of our accomplishment. Just ignore your bro and focus on yourself :)
